Blue and Black Flowers Mini Birthday Fondant Cake

It was Cami’s birthday yesterday who is our cute neighbor and a member of my Sunday School class so Cort and I made her a little fondant covered cake.  All the same ingredients (as in cake, frosting and fondant) as the previous entry for Dakota’s friend’s birthday cake, just in miniature!  Happy Birthday Cami!

Treats for Bob’s Sunday School class and my Sunday School class!  The cupcake recipe comes from the “Hello, Cupcake!” cookbook by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson.  I just made up the decorations as I went along because, to be honest, after the graduation cupcakes and Melody’s fondant birthday cake, I was a little tired and … Continue reading

Black and White Striped Fondant Birthday Cake

It was Courtney’s friend Melody’s birthday on Saturday so Cort and I got to practice our fondant skills again which was awesome but this cake gave us a good workout since it was taller than all the others that we’ve done so far.  I had some difficulty laying the fondant over that tall beast but … Continue reading
