Wedding cake for my friend Allie and her new husband Kelton. Haven’t made a wedding cake for a few years and it was not like riding a bike but it came out ok.

The cake is from this recipe here, the Original White Almond Sour Cream Cake Recipe. (It has almond in the title but I made it a vanilla cake as per Allie’s request.)

The frosting is our favorite buttercream called Basic Buttercream Icing, found here.

Allie provided the flowers (which I loved!) and the owl topper.
